The boy Afonso Couto died today
Afonso Couto, the boy of seven years of age who received a bone marrow transplant earlier this year, son of Andre Couto, pilot of World Touring Car Championship, died today Wednesday 3rd November, at 1.30pm. The child succumbed to complications following the treatment. Two weeks ago he was hospitalized in intensive care at the Hospital of St. João, Porto. The family has not decided on the funeral might be held in Macau, where the child was born.
